Xbox Game Festival: Over 70 Demos Available
Today marks the beginning of the Xbox Game Festival, scheduled to run from the 21st-27th. Microsoft is scheduled to release more than 70 playable demos from soon to be released indie games in an E3 style event for everyone stuck at home. With Ghost of Tsushima recently released and a PlayStation 5 price reveal apparently imminent, Microsoft has their work cut out for them in changing the narrative and bringing the gaming world’s attention back to the Xbox Series X.
Luckily Microsoft has their Xbox Game Showcase set for Thursday where it’s expected we’ll see gameplay from Halo: Infinite, the long rumored Fable reboot from Playground Games, and updates from the various acquisitions and newly formed studios in the XGS stable. Price, release date, and number of SKUs are also major questions still in need of answers. In the meantime, scroll down for a full list of the soon to be available demos from the Xbox Game Festival.
